Shine designed and animated the main title sequence for Netflix’s highly anticipated reboot of A Different World, drawing inspiration from the vibrant spirit of the original series. Sliding fields of color, dynamic compositions, and imagery of the cast pay homage to the iconic opening titles of the 1990s while introducing a fresh visual language for 2026.

The original logo was reimagined for a new generation, with portraits of the cast becoming a playful visual device that reveals the updated identity. Music plays an essential role in the sequence, featuring a new rendition of the beloved original theme song performed by Grammy Award-winning artist Brandy.

The series was created and developed by Felicia Pride and executive produced by Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood.
